Bollywood is extremely cruel! it has given him the unofficial babuji/chachaji title... (after AK Hangal- official laachaar baap)
But, he has given bollywood few memorable films with smile!...

I think the foundation of the official babuji was laid in this movie... he is bhagyashree's father, who leaves her at his friend's place coz he goes to dubai, I guess for working... so that he can earn lot of money!! NO! he is not the greedy dad!! he just wants his daughter to be happy!:) ooh!! when my daughter and my friend's son were young.. I used to teach his son ''twinkle twinkle little stars...'' now people sing ''twinkle twinkle 32 teeth'' for me!

The foundation of official Chachaji was laid here... He plays the role of uncle to rishi kapoor... Oh Yes!! he is not doing the regular chachaji/babuji.. he has negative shades to his character!:) he tries to kill rishi for property and all... he is the mastermind behind whatever wrong goes in the movie.. and is not revealed till end!! he is the surprise element!! I'm thrilled!!

The second in the league of chachaji with suraj barjatiya... he plays uncle to salman and mohnish.. he doesnt get married to anyone..why? so that 'mera pyaar na bat jaaye'.. he has a crush on reema lagu in their college days.. who later on turns out to be his samdhan... look at him wink naughtily at her.. and then grin... (i am mesmerized!!!)

He plays father to aishwarya rai.. and resides in chamba(???) and is a singer (!!!??!?!?) and when he comes to a mumbai, in search of akshay khanna, he is shocked to discover that his songs(:)) were copied by anil kapoor through radio or something like that!!!! I think he has long hair in the movie!:).. look at him swing in kariye na kariye na waada kisise kariye na...

This movie has to top the list of worst movies by alok nath.. he plays father (abba huzur, I guess) to pari bano, pari gulnar and few other paris (fairies) and is king of paristan(fairyland!) and moves around in blue velvet robes with some white crown-like thing on his head... whenever they ought to get the costumes of hatimtai auctioned.. I wanna make the highest bid...
The list of babuji's worst movies can go on... sapne saajan ke(with karisma kapoor a.k.a. lady randhir kapoor and rahul roy), hamara khandan (our family!!:) ), papa kehte hai(remember, ghar se nikalte hi..), mujhe kuch kehna hai, kabhi khushi kabhie ghum, etc. etc.
