Hello friends as you know I am very fond of cooking so I would like


to share my three of my favourite recipes. I have made them in


microwave as well as gas. Hope you guys like it too.


*Have written all the recipe to be made in


microwave but one can make it gas by increasing time of cooking.


First Non Vegetarian: Butter Chicken( this is for you Ava, Sanjoy, Ashish, Ateesh)


Cooking time - 20 minutes.*


Ingredients:


500gms chicken pieces


1 large tomato(boiled and cut)


1 large onion( boiled and cut)


1 tbsp ginger garlic paste


2tbsp lemon juice


1tbsp red chilly powder


1 tbsp meat masala


1tbsp garam masala


1tsp kastoori methi


1 cup hung curd


1tbsp oil


salt to taste


tbsp - table spoon


tsp - tea spoon


Method:


Wash chicken pieces and apply lime juice all over. Keep for


15 minutes to marinate. Grind tomatoes and onion in a mixer. Grill the


marinated chicken pieces on the high rack on high for 10 minutes.


Put oil in a casserole and heat it on high for 40 sec. now


put ginger garlic paste in the oil and mix. Add onion and tomato paste too. Add


meat masala and microwave it on high for 8 minutes. Stir it once in between. Now


put the marinated chicken into the mixture. Add curd, salt, red chilly powder,


garam masala, kastoori methi and microwave the same for 6 min on high.


Serve hot with butter and garnishing it with coriander. My


favorite dish. hmmmmmmmmmmmm


*PS:


ONE CAN REPLACE PANEER WITH CHICKEN TO EAT PANEER BUTTER MASALA…*



Now Vegetarian:*


This is a Punjabi dish. **Karhi Pakora( This is for Shanti, Rohit)


Cooking


time 13 minutes:


Ingredients:*


2 cups hung curd


2tbsp besan


1 tbsp chopped ginger


curry leaves to taste


2 green chillies


salt and red chilly powder to taste


few pakoras( u can make plain besan pakora for the same


with just salt and red chilly powder)


½ tbsp methi dana( fenugreek seeds)


½ tbsp cumin seeds( jeera)


1 tbsp oil


¼ tsp hing( asafetida powder)


½ tsp mustard seed( sarso ke dane)(rai)


½ tsp turmeric powder( haldi)


tbsp - table spoon


tsp - tea spoon*

Method:*


Whip


the hung curd and add water and make it thin…. add besan and salt to it and


leave aside for some time.


Heat


oil in a dish on high for 40seconds


Add


red chilli powder, cumin seeds, mustard seeds, fenugreek seeds, green chillies,


ginger, turmeric powder, curry leaves and hing and cook on high for 4 minutes.


Mix


the curd mixture now and microwave it for 10 minutes.


Add


pakoras and microwave on high power for 2 minutes. Stir 2-3 times du ring


cooking


Serve


hot with rice.


Yummy……….wah…………….


Now


sweet dish ke liye we’ll make Gajar ka Halwa…. (This is for you Itika)*


Cooking time: 24 minutes


Ingredients:*


2


cups grated carrot


half


cup sugar


half


cup milk


6tbsp


fresh khoya( you’ll get this in any sweet shop)


2tbsp


Ghee


pinch


of cardamom powder


1tbsp


cut dates


1tbsp


sliced almonds


tbsp - table spoon


tsp - tea spoon


 Method:


Put


ghee in a bowl and microwave at high for 40 seconds


Add


grated carrots and stir well. Microwave for 2 min on high. Mix milk and khoya


and add it to the carrots.


Microwave


it for 10 minutes on high stirring in between. Again cook for 10 minutes on


medium. Now add sugar.


Sprinkle


the cardamom powder and almonds and microwave for 2 min. serve hot.
