Story:

Hello,

Selected up from interest, as I am myself a B.Tech understudy from IIT Kanpur, excited to figure out how IIT Delhi was comparable/not the same as my college.

Discovered it okie-dokie, however exceedingly un-amazing. Must say, the composition style of american-high schooler books(Agatha Christie/Hardy Boys/Nancy Drew) is vastly improved than Mr.Bhagat's.

Why even the hindi-belt wrongdoing thrillers accessible at north-focal India's railroad/transport stations are considerably more clearly composed with a firm plot(like Wardi Wala Gunda etcetra)

Chetan Bhagat's books may have had a minor whiny effect to the perusing propensities for youthful Indians, as guaranteed by the dug in advertisers of our nation, yet has he truly had any kind of effect? Is there any exact examination, any numbers to demonstrate this declaration? I question.

Credit must go to Mr. Bhagat to collaborate with the distributers to offer 69/ - Rs, 59/ - Rs slight English books(scarcely 50 pages with text dimension of 15+), a meager book unquestionably looks less threatening and all the more welcoming to the non-perusing open, people who get tempted to give it a read to gloat among their partners about having at long last perused a book(i.e separated from their general course books).

Mr. Bhagat's basic Hinglish portrayal, straightforward lines, with no requirement for any word reference, where the subjects manage ordinary talks of college city life of today's India, every one of these appeals to a non-genuine newbies. In any case, does his book leave any enduring impression? Who knows!

Promoting achievement. YES. Undoubtedly! He is the most sold Indian creator! Endless achievement and everlasting distinction?! You should be joking us!

His books would be overlooked and covered much sooner than he resigns. They would sit along old-books dump to be reused back for newsprint, 'cause he isn't a skilled author!

India has a rich abstract scene is all vernacular dialects and Queen's English, penned by skilled researchers and deciphered into English/Hindi by just as talented researchers. Immortal stories which are drenched to our mileu, made by men of virtuoso. Go submerge in them and pursuit your own particular salvation.

Few of them for prepared reference: English(R.K.Narayan, Mulk Raj Anand, Khushwant Singh, Salman Rushdie, Amitava Ghosh… .) Bengali-interpretation in English accessible(Tagore, Ashapoorna Devi, Shirshendu Mukherjee, Sharat Chandra… .) Hindi-interpretation in English accessible(Rahul Sanskrityayan, Premchand, Shivani, Dharamveer Bharati… .) Marathi(Shiwaji Sawant… … .)and the rundown goes on!

I don't have any individual grudge against him, he is after each of the an IITian and an IIM former student, however no matter what, he is not a talented author! He tries and writes in MS-Excel/Powerpoint sort, as normal Business understudies and attempt to pass it on as his creation. Not for me and without a doubt I won't prescribe them to any of my kindred nation men.
