Chetan Bhagat is considered as the most read Indian English novelist. His works are always been of simple narrative style and fast moving story. Most of his works are of good readability and was the best sellers among the youth. Give point someone - What not to do at IIT is Chetan's first novel which was published by Rupa publications. It is the story of 3 young people who meets at the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi which is one of the premiere technical institutions in the country. The became friends easily and the story evolves through the their 4 years of adventures in the IIT life. The novel has all the ingredients that the young people of India asks for. The story hoes through love, friendship, the usual IIT pressure etc. This novel has became a Bollywood movie named 3 idiots starting Aamir kahan and Kareena kapoor which was one of the greatest hits in Indian film history. The novel is fast moving but can't categorized as a classic novel. It is just a simple story that would be liked by every kind of people. And nothing special.
