Top most good looking heros. Review on Five Most Handsome Actors of Bollywood

Some time when I wrote an article about the 5 most beautiful heroines in the movies, I thought about writing good looking heros but was not sure whether any article exist for the same. Don’t get me wrong but whenever you think about good looking people, the only thought that comes across is good looking females and never males, but in the generation of Metrosexual people this would be a very wrong statement.

Now, the question was who all should be included in Vishal’s top five. I would definitely not include Dharamendra as I suppose he should only be awarded with “Life time achievement” award for good looks. So who all are the nominees……

The list is exhaustive, there are the Kapoors(right from Prithvi Raj Kapoor to Ranbir Kapoor). We also have Manoj Kumar, Sunil Dutt, Ashok Kumar from B/W days. Mid term would include Jackie Shroff, Jitendra, Vinod Khanna, the Khan brothers, Biswajeet, Deb Mukherjee and many more. Younger lot will incl Deol Brothers, Saif, Khanna brothers and many more….So it was not as easy as I thought…After all the permutation and combination I have drilled down to my top five….

# 5: - He was Benazir Bhutto’s favorite hero and till today she find him very good looking and far better than any of the hero. He was better looking than any of his brothers or even the younger generation, yes he is none other than Shashi Kapoor.  He had the perfect face and was very well groomed. He was in a true sense first chocolate hero of the celluloid.

# 4:- He got the best of his parents, Hritik Roshan has the best physic and face in the industry. Surprisingly he took advise with Salman Khan to build his career. Although much was spoken about his looks in Dhoom – 2 but I feel he looked best in Lakshay. Some people are look perfect in the services dress( you would have to forgive for this but couldn’t resist to write this as I have a background in services)

#3:- As move up, the competition gets tougher, so this position can only be occupied with none other than Vinod Khanna. He had a personality and aura around him. I still remember my junior college days at Jai Hind in Mumbai, I met him there during his post Rajneesh days. It was at that time that my wife(then my girl friend) actually taught me that Vinod Khanna is the synonym of  “Tall Dark & Handsome”. What more to say, wife is always right.

#2:- I know many may not agree with me and some may even doubt my credibility but I feel that Akshay Kumar has to be at this spot. He is hunk, performs his stunts himself and looks fwd for all kind of challenges and adventure. He is conservatively good looking.  There is a scene in Ajnabee when Akshay is narrating his plot to Bobby, there is a scene in which he comes out of a limo in a black suit & over coat, all the girls in the cineworld theatre at Milton Keynes screamed out ooze. He is one man whom I feel is getting younger everyday. I would definitely like to know the Mantra.

#1: -That brings to the top spot. If Life Time Achievement goes to Dharmendra then it is obvious that top spot should go to Dev Anand. Ladies during the B/W days found him so handsome that guys use to imitate him just to attract girls. Dev Sahab, was actually asked by Bombay Police to not to wear white shirt during evenings as there was a risk that girls may jump infront of his car.
