Though most of the Indian actresses are beautiful, there are few who are known for their divine beauty in the tinsel ville. Since I have grown up watching most of the old movies, my review might contain some of the names of the actresses of bygone era, excuse me for that, but I will try my level best to impress all and sundry with the choices that I am gonna make here.
Madhubala - the beauty unravelled
Any list of beautiful actresses can't stand withour her name. Rightly quoted as the "beauty of venus", she deserves it all. Her eyes spoke volumes and glow on her skin made her look eternal and uncomparable.
Many of us might not know that she always used to drink warm water. She was born Mumtaz asJehan Begum Dehlavi. Her smile was contagious.
Even death hasn't been able to snatch away her fond memories that her fans cherish even today.
My heart says - If beauty is to be named in person then the name has to be Madhubala.

Few actors are not born beautiful but they attain beauty over the years and this's what I can say about her as a Fan.
People who must have seen rekha in her earlier movies might think that the ugly duckling story was written about her only. But hey guys, I don't know as when that story was written but it hold true for Rekha.

Sri and beauty are synonimous. Even at this age, she gives a tough competition to contemporary actresses. Though she is no more active on the silver screen , speculations are rife that she will soon make a comeback in one of the big banners.
She's all time favorite of Yash Chopra and many might not even know that she was approached by none other than Steven Spielberg for a role in one of his best movies of all time.
