This topic is a controversial one as you have to choose the best five songs of the singer who has sung so much in the last ten years as no other has. This time I picked only five of the songs of Udit which are really took the hearts & the charts in last year?s last month. 2004 is one of the most of the successful year for Udit.
In March, June, July, September, November & December the charts of top-10 are having 10 out of ten songs sung by Udit in different movies. So what can be said after this for the success of this brilliant singer. His soft voice and specific style is loved by million of people and till today?s day I have not found a single person who dislikes Udit?s voice. You will agree with me that his voice is so that if any song having his vocal you certainly wants to listen the song at least once. In December last year many good music albums released and there is not a single album which doesn?t contain the vocal of this very luminous singer.
(1)?Aankhain Bund Karke? from the movie AITRAAZ. Alka & Udit sung the song with the music credits by Himesh Reshammiya. This is romantic song with some modern music arrangements and above all the singing by Udit & Alka makes the song the memorable song.
(2)?Aisa Des hai Mera? from the movie VEER-ZAARA. Lata ji Supports Udit in this song. A patriotic song which was composed way back in 1960?s by Madan Mohan gi and recreated today by Sanjeev Kohli. The other songs in this album are also good but in my view Udit sung this song with enthusiasm which can be seen only in few other song ever sung by Him. So the song deserves to be in the list.
(3)?Khobsoorat? from the movie ROG. Udit sung the composition of M.M.Kareem. Two genius of their field come together you cant expect other than some extraordinary work which this is. A very simple song cum ghazal which is sung in a soft manner by Udit and become one of the most beautiful track of the Udit Vocal Bank.
(4)?Hum Hain Is Pal Yahan? from the movie KISNA. Again two geniuses added together with some superb music and this kind of product evolved.

(5)?Ek Dilruba Hai? from the movie BEWAFAA. The latest of the biggest hit of Udit a glorious style with some of very good music treatments and we got this song. The most of the popular songs in December and still ruling the charts, composed by Nadeem Shravan. Special style and beautiful voice control makes this song gem and make you believe that Udit is one of the most successful and loved one singer of today.
People say that Udit is over exposed this year. My views are different we don?t know when one?s life ends and if one try and wait for time to come to work then it some time too late. Many examples are there in this world people die without doing anything. With Udit he has a God Gifted Talent which he is able to explore a bit and if he will work on it he can explore many new horizons so he gets the chance to do it he must sing every song which he thinks he can sing.
Udit Narayan is a Great Singer and he desrve the position today people have given him.
