Strings: Redefining music!

Today if you walk on the road and you notice a flashy car zooming by pumping 50 Cent and Eminem music, you will probably say, 'Yeh aaj ka generation!'

Not only the youngsters, but even some adults have forgotten what Indian music is like. Though, Strings is a Pakistani band, the lyrics are Hindi. I've listened to both their hit albums, Duur and Dhaani.

What I really like about strings is the https://lyrics. Our Indian music does not merely comprise bollywood dhinchak dhinchak music. And I'm really sorry to say that very few Bollywood music directors make good music. All the films atleast have one silly romantic song with words like'ishq''dil' etc. The lyrics in them are nonsense.(No offence, really). But lyrics of the Strings Album or not like that. They'r simple, soothing and yet they are meaningful, they make sense.

Faisal Kapadia is the lead singer. Bilal maqsood is the lead guitarist, his father Anwar Maqsood writes the lyrics and Bilal composes the music too.

Another good thing about Fsisal is that his voice I naturally good. He doesn't stretch his voice to create an over-whelming feeling. His voice works like magic. His singing is simple, yet beautiful.  According to me, the best 5 Strings songs are as follows:

1) Najanay Kyun: This song has been sung by Faisal.  The lyrics are touching. The guitar playing by Bilal and his team is rocking! When Faisal sings those line, 'Dil Bhuj Gaya, ghar Jal Gaya, Najanay Kyun.', we feel really great. I kind of a feeling. we feel like crying. Thi is a kind os soft rock song.

2) Dhaani: This is again sung by Faisal. The rythm of this song, the way he sings the lines, 'Dhaani chunariya.' is the main feature. While this is a romantic song, its not like bollywood nonsense songs.

3)Duur: Duur is again a romantic song, but as I say again, its not like Bollywood bakwas, but its really good. The guitar playing by Bilal is very good too.

4) Yeh Hai Meri Kahani: This song is from the recent film Zinda. This song has some really meaningful lyrics, which again provoke us to cry. And also, Bilal's guitar playing is the best in this song.

5) Mera Bichraa Yaar: This song is sung by Bilal Maqsood. Of course I forgot to mention that a few songs are also sung by him. He has a soft voice. This song is about a guy who misses his friend. The lyrics are soulful and so is the music.

Apart from these 5 ROCKING songs, Kahani Mohabbat ki, Sar Kiye Yeh Pahar, Anjaane etc. are good too.

I LOVE strings. But I will not recommend Strings music to all. People who love hard rock electric songs will yawn and will ultimately fall asleep while hearing Strings music. Its meant for the rest, who love music, not noise.
