The children after finishing their homework want CARTOONS while the men after a hard days work in office want to catch up on the NEWS.The ladies have made it a habit 2 sob a little before goin 2 bed(only 4rm Mon -Thu).
The ''Queen of the Idiot Box'' is undoubtedly EKTA KAPOOR.U can criticize her, blame her 4 addicting u 2 her ''saas-bahu'' brand of serials but u cant ignore her.She has the golden touch and can make everything look believable.Whether it is coming back 4rm the dead after a plastic surgery, living upto 100+ years as is the case with Ba in Kyunki....,
Or a man marrying 3 times or swinging 4rm utter poverty 2 riches and vice versa.Well after this acknowledgement I am gonna review 3 best serials on the tube 2day which r not the saas bahu soaps but r really different in the real sense.
Well here comes my list.Jet set go
1.REMIX-Deals with school life and really interesting.The only hitch in this serial is all the stuff that they do really exist in 11 standard.But damn it if u can believe the Saas Bahu serials u can believe anything.
It has 4 main characters-Ranvir, Tia, Yuvi and Anvesha.Anvesha is the coolest with her one liners and ''Hey Bhaggu'' is great.The fantastic 4 have turned into some sort of youth icons with this show.It airs 4rm Mon-Thu at 8:00 pm on Star One.
2.SARABHAI VS SARABHAI-This serial stars Satish Shah, Ratna Pathak Shah.
Its really original and enjoyable after a hard days work.Rosesh with his ''momma'' cries is great.The acting by all the actors is excellent.It airs on Monday at 9:00 pm on Star One.
3.JASSI JAISI KOI NAHIN-This show inspired 4rm a Cuban(i think so) novel.It tells us the story of how an ugly woman can make a big difference to our lives.Pretty is not always pleasing.Though this show is treading the beaten path -dont ever finish a serial as long as it is succesful but is as engrossing as it was bfore.
It airs from Mon-Thu at 9:30 pm on sony Entertainment television.
For those of u who dont agree with my choice there is always a saas Bahu soap not faraway.4 those who yet haven't watched the above serials
watch them and lmme know if I was right and 4 those who dont like 2 watch TV there's always MS where u can write or read reviewa.Bring out the creativity in u.Go get it.(not the remote:))
