Yesterday I went through your web site and went to the restaurant for today ie. Sundays lunch for 18 persons. I was asked to report at 12.30 pm to 1.00 pm.
About 14 of us reached the restaurant at 12.45 pm. We were denied entry, through restaurant was empty and told that we must wait outside till each guest came through.
It was extremely inhospitable and the hotel treated us very callously, as if we are being given a charity lunch. I was much displeased and told them my displeasure.
They said, they cannot waste tables and if the balance guests do not come, they would lose revenue. A lousy restaurant which deserves to be banned.
Down the road another restaurant Mandi was there, we gave a ring and they welcomed us and also gave a 5% discount.
Imagine how it feels to be on the pavement, till all the guests turn up. Even an apology was not forthcoming. I recommend that the rating be rationalized and the experience was extremely bad.
I had senior family members who were invited. The restaurant charges around Rs.500/- per person a la carte.
Great prices and lousy service.
