Zafraan - new restaurant in Kaggadaspura- must try
Nov 24, 2010 06:22 PM 57049 Views

If you are living in and around C V Raman Nagar, Kaggadaspura, G M Palya, Vignanagar or Mallesh Palya then there is a good reason for you to be happy. One of the newest restaurants Zafraan Divine cuisine has opened right on the Kaggadaspura main road. It is above the Reliance Fresh and Mega Mart store. This place offers the finest, high quality Northern Frontier food for people with refined taste and who thoroughly enjoy food.

I am a foodie and I try out every good restaurant, when I heard about this place especially being close to my house I had to try it out. As it was my first time to the restaurant I left the choice to the wait staff and chef to guide me with what they can serve me best.

Also when I hear that any restaurant serves kababs then I don’t spoil my appetite with either soup or sharbat. So I asked them to suggest some good starters and kababs.

They first served me karela chat, I was a little apprehensive about starting my meal with bitter taste but I was wrong, it was truly amazing. Next was aloo mungphali chat again a must have. We then asked them to serve us kabab – they suggested we try both veg and non veg kababs. I am not much of a veg lover but still due to my other friends insistence I tried both. Till aloo angari very nicely done in the tandoor followed by paneer tikka multani. The taste was good but then I had to save space in my stomach for non veg kababs. We started the non veg kabas with a pomfret kabab beautifully served with the tail of the fish wrapped with foil which was giving it an amazing look. Next was a kabab which has now become my favorite Ruzwali kabab, it was the chicken breast stuffed with chicken mince and cheese. Anything to do with cheese is always dear to me. Next we tried was some tikka made with egg. It was truly out of the world, I had never seen such an amazing combination of egg and chicken. These are all must try when you visit the restaurant.

Infact their kababs are so good that we wanted to try more but did not have space in our stomach, but good part was that we were a good number of people in our gang so we did manage to finish all those kababs. We tried their mugh methi with Indian bread and finished our meal with hot jamuns.

If you ask me I loved this place and would recommend all you kabab lovers to try this restaurant. The place is huge with a good capacity, also an open air kind of a place where they allowed our kids to play around. So the next time you are in the mood for good food and best kababs then I suggest you head straight to Zafraan.
