If it is 5 action films best ever, then the ratings could be very different I will include :
A Bridge over River Kwai, Guns of Naverone Mecanna's Gold, Race with the Devil, That man Bolt,
Black belt Jones, Enter the Dragon, Man with the Golden Gun,
Hercules, Chengis Khan , Omar Mukhtar They call me Trinity, I
am for the Hippopotamus , Tough Guys, evenTen Commandments Etc.,
I can never include Sci-fi movies in any categories as they are a
figment of imagination.
Modern days Action has become synonymous with the
name RAMBO so who knows in future RAMBOwill be
included in dictionary to mean Action or a man of action:-
1)First Blood.
It was not only a successful film as per viewership but also for
the makers, originally it was made as a video film which is
(Small camera) (U-Matic format) then after the success, converted
into cinemascope format (Motion Picture). as for the sequels made to it,
the forbidden fruit never tasted as well the second time around.
I dont like sequels to any films .

Robert De Niro master theif and a brilliant cop Al Pacino
Audience always appreciate tussel between The Good and the Bad
Remember the starting scene in the film Helicoptor mounted
camera zooming and finally focousing on a red car which is in the
middle of the city traffic and the armed roborry develops. Acting
was superb if your heart beat and pulse beat is the sure indicator
of successful action this is one such movie.

3)Silver Dream Racer
There is poetic action in this movie, I have never seen Racing filmed
so nicely and so beautifully, songs were fantastic and music was
superb. I think the climax was a CLIMAX (Best ever)

4)Mission Impossible
The original trend setter in mind blowing action with superb
camera tricks the matrix follows from this film.
Tom Cruise became a
Producer for 2nd part and he became heavy weight with this film in

5)Romancing the stone
Know the son of former action hero Kirk Douglas
(The Wrestler, The Gun Fight at ok corrol) Michael Douglas
in a very beautiful film, this film is a sure pulse stimulator.

The other films I deem worth mentioning in the sub section of action
is Double Impact, (Van Damm) The battle in the Bronx (Jackie Chan)
Crocodile Dundee (James Hogan) Raiders of the lost ark (Harrison Ford)
Independence Day (Michael J.Fox) An officer and a Gentleman (Richard
Gere). Some films by Bruce Willis , Arnold Swaznegger, Russel Crowe,
Mel Gibson, Eddie Murphy etc., I have mentioned my own pulse reactions to
above films, I need in a film many aspects of entertainment just blood and
gore is not my cup of tea so a film should have balanced diet of Romance,
Beauty, Secenery, Acting, Actors Chemistry, Photography Sense, Grip, Etc.,
After all a growing baby needs a complete balanced diet !!
