My nominations. Review on Five Best Hollywood Action Films

The Matrix - No question on this. The movie will be remembered for its in-between slow motion action, terrific camera work, lots of FX, martial-art skills of Keanu Reaves and very unique story.

Die Hard - No one can beat Bruce Willis in this. All bloodied (by the end) and fighting the kidnappers, Bruce willis suddenly became a Super-duper star.

Hard Target - This movie brought Van Damme into highlight. Action sequences were awesome and most of them were done by Van Damme himself. Van Damme again proved himslef in Bloodsport.

Rocky III - Some people wont agree that Rocky cannot be said as an action film. Boxing is also an action oriented, yes you are not fighting bad guys here but the fight is always big without guns, knives and bombs. The fight between Rocky and Drako is worth watching 'n' no of times.

Star Wars : Last but not the least, the action sequences of Star Wars were filmed in the best possible way.
