Get OFF for aKtion!!!. Review on Five Best Hollywood Action Films

1. The Lord of The Rings[Trilogy]- **Director Peter Jackson undertakes the ambitious task of giving cinematic form to the book of J.R.R. Tolkien's literary masterpiece "The Lord of the Rings", a worldwide bestseller that redefined the fantasy genre.The Lord of the Rings tries to capture and re-present the imagery evoked by Tolkien's epic fantasy rather than to re-create it.

4. Star Wars-[Any Episode] - If anything, Star Wars ushered in the realistic-looking sci-fi production. Before, everything in futuristic space movies looked too squeaky-clean, as if dust and grime became extinct in the future. Yes, time and technological progress has taken some luster off this milestone in filmmaking history. But Star Wars will always remain a classic and a legend.

3.The Terminator- Ah-nuld gets the break of a lifetime; he plays a cyborg with little or no lines in this remarkable sci-fi shoot'em up! The action scenes are wild and the body count wickedly high, but what really makes the movie is the clever plot. Linda Hamilton and Michael Biehn also have break-through performances in the movie, making this sci-fi film nearly believable. Director James Cameron proves he's no fluke, T2 is just-about as good as the original.

2.The Matrix-Now how does Keanu Reeves make it to the top of the list? I guess we should have seen it coming after Speed! The Matrix is one of the most stylish thrillers that has come along in a LONG time! The slo-mo cinematography and special effects were ground-breaking when this movie appeared, this film won many awards for its FX and snappy editing.The plot is as good as the Terminator and the gun/fight scenes will blow you away, no expense was spared for the action.

*Amazed to find'The Matrix' on TWO?.You got to watch the POSTION ONE feature, to believe me, Kung-Fu-Hustle is a AWESOME aKtion[K=c] flick, and to add more its spl. effects work for a big time.

1. Kung-Fu-Hustle- **Stephen Chow made excellent use of technology in this movie with wonderful CGI graphics in the fight scenes. They were really were a joy to watch on the big screen. This movie was all about the presentation and this movie definitely was presented well. If you like humor, don't mind having to read subtitles, and just want to laugh, then check out this film.
