Of the filcks I have seen, here are the 5 drk comedies, I liked.. :

Fargo: Movie based on the Midwest involving a Car salesman who comes out with a weirdest of a plan to extract money from his wealthy father in law. He hires two bumbling losers to kidnap his wife & then demand a ransom, which he would have a big share of. The hired hoodlums don’t execute the plan well & the whole episode turns into a comedy of bizarre errors. A pregnant sheriff who’s determined to nab the goofing perpetrators makes matters worse for them. A truly dark movie with some cracking moments.

A Simple Plan: Another story based on the Midwest involving three men who discover a crashed plane, a dead pilot and four million dollars in snowy Minnesota. They decide to split the cash in three ways & no one would ever know about it. A simple plan. But later Greed, suspicion and sibling rivalry come in & takes its bizarre toll.

The Big Lebowski : Two guys with same names... one poor and the other extra rich... rich guy's daughter tries some kidnap thing which goes bad... poor guy is stuck for ransom... very funny in a weird way

Shallow Grave: A Scottish flick involving three students (2 guys & a girl) living together, who discover that their other roommate has died of a drug overdose, leaving behind a suitcase full of hard cash. Their pact to conceal the death and split the money among themselves. But later they begin to suspect each other of betrayal, turn greedy & become increasingly deranged. This movie provides some good macabre humour.

True Romance: Quentin Tarantino penned Star studded movie that’s filled with profanity from the start till the end. Involves a street smart Elvis fan who falls in love & later marries a Call girl. Goes to her pimp to settle him & eventually bumps him off & then stumbles into a case filled with Mafia cocaine worth millions of dollars. Decides to travel from Detroit to LA to sell the hot stuff to some Hollywood guys for some easy cash. With the Mafia & the cops hot on their trail, the couple’s plan to sell the coke doesn’t go as planned & things take a nasty twist towards the end. Brutally hilarious movie till the end.

Have ur pick...
