Forget about this diesel car , every new diesel car is for peoepl who know how to drive a desel engine powered car...
obviously to sat buddy ur wrong if u say u have driven ambassador(salute to this royal Wheel) or older diesel engines.
U drive it slow and u ruin it and then cry about parts.
well for a begining ur driving a 1.7 litre diesel engine, enough to beat a lancer on highways.
always drive this car according to its gear ratios which are very different...
about people who say the mileage this car gives is average well u better mention the driving stats like crowded places, a/c on while waiting for someone.
well honestly I got a worst fuel average of 11 from my car but that was the time my cars valvues were choked and had to be cleaned , infact I uesd fuel additives and it got cleansed all by itself because of the work they(additives) are supposed to do.
well coming back to its performance , hahahaaaa people grow up to drive this car... always keep a diesel engine(new generation) in its gear ratio and always use the fifth gear when u can.
over drive is not for highways people, its for speeds above 55-60 kmph not 80 or even I have seen people engaging the fifth gear above 100kmph. god bless those wheels.
well yes spares were expensive.
guys always get the brakes pads and some lean repairs done from a known guy but not from the damn authorised guys they are always expensive but do not let him touch the engine.
Bumper for 1200 bucks is cheap guys...
Get high profiles rubber fitted and it would never give u a low ground clearence problem.
honestly as a fact expect low ground clearence ur driving a car designed as a coupe famous in canada and italy...
fitted with a 1.3 litre engine there which is turbo charged and generates above 175 bhp.... yes 175bhp

in short an average car, but a fabulous car for people who know what history it has.
for a short info if u like palio's 1.2 engine its of UNO just the central point fuel injection is replaced with a MPFI unit. hahahaaaaaaaaaaa u guyz r just impossible.
well another info, wanna fit a 1.6 into UNO, go get it , it wouldn't be a much of a hassle....
well just give it clean fuel some additives and drive it with pleasure

Just because Fiat and suzuki are two different class of cars one is an italian who know what they make and the other who makes cars for its congested city....
One makes cars for high speeds/city driving and the other just for city driving.

another correction Fuel Efficiency is 15-19kmph in city w/t A/c
15-17kmph with A/c
on highways w/t A/C - 19-24KMPH
with A/c 19-22 KMPH
in the end, I forgot to mention u have everything from rear fog lamps to front fog lamps in this car, if not there is provission and if ur in mumbai everything is available. Read its manual and u'll know whats there in this car what others don't have, and why they have it. hint many electrical tips like dipper, parking lights, fog lamps go off when high beem is switched on one can also fit head lamp washers if u get some info on UNO on the net, everythingz there guys just put it on.
