We (my dad) bought a second hand sky blue fiat premier padmini in the year 1989 for 80k. If was a 1973 model..
Wow man, what a car was that a rough and tough car. You can even not expect such a performance from the current cars.Best car my family had. We had the car until Nov 1999 (until we bought a Hyundai Santro). And we sold the car for 20k unwillingly.. the two reasons we actually decided to sell were - Reason 1, The car's bottom was heavily rusted and gave us caution that the base might come down at anytime.. Reason 2, We thought we should upgrade to a new car.
So we sold to an another Fiat lover, he bought from us, re-modified the car by welding/re-fixing the base, new alloys and tires, new paint work, Engine modifications, and new interiors.. these took him atleast 40k more!!
If u still have the car.. Dont sell it.. Its a precious gem.. An Vintage collection..
Loved it and now miss it..
