Pros:
great writers great books etc.
Cons:
none

Hmmm, I still read some of these books specially when I can’t seem to find anything
else to read. I think I should tell you I grew up surrounded by books. In my most boring state, books are
my sole comfort, specially these:

1) ENID BLYTON books
I could never have stopped reading these. I always read them over and over. I would usually read the ones with the different stories and it always used to be about fairies, goblins, elves etc. Elves were tiny short people not what J.R.R. Tolkien made them be and reading was so much fun. I also loved the single story books like Malory Towers and Famous Five but never read them that much. But these were my favourites back then.

2) ALICE IN WONDERLAND
I still read this book sometimes. It’s such a wonderful book about a little girl who saw a rabbit with a stopwatch and decided to follow it. Just the other day I was trying to read it all over again but didn’t succeed. I loved this book so much but I didn’t have a copy of my own until I was eleven. I didn’t really care for it much any more so I wasn’t thrilled but I still read it and it is a great book. I’m sure you will all agree with me!

3) BLACK BEAUTY
There’s also a movie in this one but I have only seen part of it. I loved the book a whole lot and yes I could never have stopped reading this one. But I don’t now. I haven’t read it in a while but I do remember what it’s all about: A horse called Black Beauty because of his colour: black, deep black. The book is all about Black Beauty how he passed from one master to another to another. He passed through both kind and cruel masters. Finally he found a kind master who never sold him to anyone. Every one knows what this book is about so giving away the end doesn’t really matter. And yes it is sort of thrilling. So enjoy the book.

4) HEIDI
Can’t forget this one now can I??? A thrilling book about an orphaned girl who lives with her grandfather on the beautiful Swiss Alps.
Heidi’s mother died when she was.....can’t remember the age Heidi was I think it was around four. Anyways her mother died leaving Heidi with her aunt. ONe day her aunt finds a job in Frankfurt and she takes the girl to her grandfather. Now Heidi cannot read or write so she spends her days with the goats and their goatherd. Do I have to continue??? Noooo I will not continue ’cause every one knows this one. Can’t tell me you don’t know this one. Don’t, I will not believe you.

Well that’s it. There’s a lot more but I can’t remember every single one. I mostly read Enid Blyton’s books which as I say made reading a pleasure. I’m still a bookworm but I have stopped reading her books maybe cause I can’t find them or I just don’t want to. But they were and still are great books.
