Poombatta means Butterfly(in malayalam language) Everyone likes poombatta, Its color is very interesting. In my childhood  I chased the poombatta a lot. At that time catching the poombatta  is an enjoyment. After catching the poombatta my friends will tag it with a thread. They compel poombatta to pick little stones. Oh! what a cruelty to poombatta. But in my childhood I wasn't bother about that. Thinking about poombatta the first thing in my mind is a weekly named poombatta. In my childhood I had read so many children's magazines, poombatta, balarama, pachuvum kovalanum and so. Poombatta was an interesting one among them.
