Makes my face very dry. Review on Fair & Lovely Fairness Cream

Fair & Lovely cream is a product of a trusted brand Unilever. It is one of the most sold beauty or fairness cream in the market. I have myself seen many old women or young girls use this cream, to get a fairer skin.

I have never been a heavy user of fairness creams. Most of my life I have applied boro plus on my face and now I use Olay anti-ageing cream.

But a few years ago, I bought a tube of fair & lovely to experiment. First of all, I didn't like the cream's texture. I took a little amount, but it straight away felt dry. I applied it on my face and the white tiny particles were visible. After applying my face felt dry and stretchy at places. Yet the fact that so many people use it, I thought of trying it for a few days. In just a matter of a week, I felt like my skin had become too sensitive. So I decided to see my doctor, she said that fairness creams have that kind of effect on certain people's skin, making their skin more sensitive, saggy. Since then I have never used this cream again and asked my daughter-in-law and daughters to refrain themselves from using this cream.

Honestly, I would not recommend this cream, instead of trying to change your skin complexion, people should focus on improving it. I do not recommend fair & lovely as my own experience has not been good.
