Story:

Fahrenheit is a dystopian novel written by Ray Bradbury. The novel plot takes place in a futuristic society where the government banned reading and owning books. And if the government finds out that you own books, the fireman will come to your house to burn them.

Story main character Guy Montag, who works as a fireman and burn books for a living, and he is doing it for a while, and now it is very natural to him, and now the kerosene he use to burn books is smells like perfume to him.

He never questions why he does that, until he meets his next door neighbour Clarisse, who questions him about his life and whether he is happy doing what he do for a living. This makes Guy Montag question himself about the reason behind burning books and why books are so dangerous.

All the characters were pretty well developed, Guy Montag is an interesting character to read about and it is interesting to see him developing and questioning and critically thinking. His internal struggle that whether he is doing the right thing or wrong was well done in this novel.

Even though it feels like pretty crazy to think about a world that banns and burns books, but on the other side, it felt very realistic. Writing is very descriptive and well done, and Ray Bradbury was able to create a dystopian realistic world in this novel.I will Highly recommend this novel.
