Our purchase of Sony LCD TV went sour thanks to the false commitments made by the store with respect to the delivery and installation of the product. Till the time of swiping the card conversations sound
of confidence. However, once payment is made all commitments fall flat. We were assured that the following day delivery and installation both would be done. To our disappointment the delivery got delayed and even after repeated telephonic reminders to e-zone no one showed up for installation. Time slots given to us by the installation people were 6 hours later than what was committed to us by e-zone. We had to cancel all our weekend plans just waiting for delivery and installation.
When we asked for e-zone to send someone over to at least open the box and switch on the tv so that the warranty card could be stamped, then also they could not do the needful and required more than 2 hours !! when our residence is walking distance from the store.
In conclusion, we regretted buying tv from e-zone, considering the fact that e-zone was at walking distance, when we could have made the purchase from some "Sony World" store directly. Freebies with the product were also not worthy enough and were overpriced. No choice of freebies either
