Expedia sucks. They do not guarantee hotel rooms. I paid for a non-smoking queen bed and instead got a smoking room with two single beds.

When I emailed them, their only response was to quote their fine print

These requests are not confirmed and are subject to availability at the time of check-in. Special requests may incur additional charges.// The hotels always have control of the room types.





Their website is OK, but anybody who pays for anything Expedia should know about Expedia’s fine print.



Never get a hotel from Expedia unless you want something totally different from what you paid for.
