I purchases 4 airplane tickets at $ 165 per for a trip this summer. I then had to move the whole thing back a week. Went to the site and changes the tickets ... changed an additional $ 400.00. When I saw the confirmation, only the return and not the departing flight had been changed.

I called Expedia and after a 68 minute experience ... mostly on hold, I was told that I would have to pay another $ 436 to change the other flight ... a total of $ 836 additional fees to change tickets that cost a total of $ 650.00. Expedia refused to accept my explanation that I changed both flights and their system screwed up.

They told me I would have to pay an additional $ 109 to change each ticket, even though they were quoting $ 96 for one-ways on the same airplane!!!

The website was confusing and they want me to pay a total of $378 for each $165 ticket. This is insane.

I would recommend that anyone considering this company go elsewhere. It is faster and more pleasurable to just cut to the chase and flush your money straight down the toilet ... takes less time.

I almost forgot, last year they sold me a limo from Heathrow to my hotel with a company that stopped service at 10 PM ... and my flight was scheduled to get in at 11!

For plane tickets, go to the airline direct. Usually the cost is less.
