We bought tickets through expedia for las vegas. as an option, we also bought showtickets to mystere- cirque du soleil. We entered the date for april 13, and the day we were leaving was april 16th.

Much
to our surprise (after we bought the tickets), the showtickets were dated for april 16th. I know I double checked before picking the date, because we were planning our days specifically. For some reason, the date was automatically moved to the 16th! that’s the day we were leaving!

So I called expedia. After being on hold for half an hour, I finally got through to a rep. She said that they could refund the tickets after our trip was over to make sure we didn’t use the showtickets.

After our trip, I called expedia again. (another half our wait on the phone). This agent said no refund was possible! she then said it was never guaranteed. I can assure you that the first agent did not tell me that. They made me wait so I wouldn’t get my refund.

So after the computer defaulted to the day we were leaving, I’m $200 poorer with nothing to show for it but frustration. Expedia has the worst customer service I’ve ever dealt with. I would NOT recommend using them.
