My daughter reserved a hotel room for me through Expedia.com for a daily rate of $132 per day. When I arrived at the hotel I found that the daily rate was $99 but that Expedia.com had already charged my daughter’s credit card for the entire 6 days at the higher rate. When my daughter called she was told that nothing could be done about this. When I called I was told that sometimes you actually pay a higher rate by using Expedia.com (even though they ’’...guarantee the lowest rate...’’ in their FAQ. When I asked to speak to a superior, I was told that there was no one else to whom I could speak. I found Expedia.com to be arrogant, dishonest and unreliable. I would warn anyone using this ’’service’’ to do so at their own risk.
