Booking travel through Expedia was one of my biggest mistakes of my life. I booked 4 night hotel through Expedia and per there ruunig promotion I was expected to get a $50 gas card in 4-6 weeks of filling
the shipping form. I filled the form on the same day I booked my hotel was expecting for the card in coming 4-6 weeks. 4 weeks passed and there was no card. I called customer service and they told me to waith till 6 weeks are passed. I again called after 6 weeks and they had no clue about it. I asked them I would like to escalate but there was no respinse. Customer suuport associate told me case has been escalated and you will get a response with in 3 business days. At the end of 3rd business day what I got is the same shipping information again in my eamil. I called customer service agai and they expalined the story again then that suppor associate told me your request was not processed correctly. He told me that he has corrected the issue and I would get my card. I told him that I can use the card before August 31, 2008 and its already July 22 so waht if card comes after August 31 2008 and it becomes a trash fro me. I insisted to talk to talk to his manager but he was not agreeing to transfer the call and finally when I pressed more he put me on hold for around 30 mins. And finally when manager was online he gave me the same response.
I would never recommend Expedia.
