I had requested to surrender my policy, and inspite of visiting their branch offices, and repeated calls and emails to their customer service, they did not allow me to surrender the policy.
Instead, after more than 2 months of requesting surrender, they auto-debited my account for the next year.
Beware of Exide life. At your own risk.
