Euro school is pathetic. Review on Euro School, Wakad, Pune

Euro School, Wakad is ICSE board school. My kid is studying there.

Good points.

1. Their audio-visual way of teaching is very good for childrens.

   
   




2. They conduct extracurricular classes.

   
   

Negative points.

1. They gives lots of holiday for no reason. During this year, they gave many unneccessary holidays. For example they gace holiday on 9th and 10th july for Palkhi where as other school were operating on 9th July. They gave holiday on 28th September(today) by mentioning that because of Ganpati visarjan on 27th buses will run late by 3 hours on following day. Where as all school schools are running. They have 17 days holiday for Diwali and 11 days for Christmas. Kids are getting fade-up by sitting at home.

Their summer vacation is too big. It start from 11 april to 17th June.

1. They use very old buses for transport. They create lots of pollution. This is not good for kids health.

   
   




2. Transport charge is very high. For 6 km, they charge more than 17000 a year(almost 3-4 month is holiday).

   
   




3. They mention that they hike fees by 10%. Be careful with this statement.

   
   

Every standard has different fees.

For example, Sr.KG fees is 59 thousand plus 7k for dress. Where as class 1 fee is about 73 k.

So when kid will go from Sr. Kg to class 1.

His fee is not just go from 59 plus 10% but it will be 73 k plus 10%.

So fee will increase from 59k to 80k just for Sr.KG to Class1.

Many parents are fighting for this issue.

1. They setup PTA recently but that is no use.
