Do not buy anything from eureka forbes. They sweet talk before buying the product. Worst after sales service.had bought a gold nova purifier from them 2 years back, which was supposed to their best product. The new product had a faulty main switch which the company dilly-dallied for over a month. Then i was told since the product is new, spares are not available. I was also blamed by the company of not handling the switch properly whereas their own service people used to really manhandle the switch at every visit and teach me how to press the switch with little more force. i put my foot down and demanded a refund at which the company finally agreed to replace it after a lot of quarrelling.
I got the amc done last year. But these guys just done turn up without reminding them. (they are supposed to do it twice a year). Now the product is under amc yet no response to complaint made since 22-05-10. Complaint no 220510428 made on 22nd may. Repeated on 31 may, 2nd june, 5th june, 8th june and 9th june. I even complained to the service manager yesterday and was promised same day service. Nothing yet. In the middle of all this i even got a call saying that someone would come for servicing and since the amc would expire in a few days time and i should also renew the same at the same time.
No other outside person can service the product because it is a complex product. So i am stuck with this product and have to shell out 1400 per year as blackmail in the form of amc. Stay away from eureka.
