I purchased Aqua guard Gold Nova' 20 days back.
How I made this choice:
I visited few retail shops in HYD to buy water purifier. My requirement is for wall mounted water purifier. I am not interested in storage water purifier. I have seen Philips, Aqua-sure, Video-con water purifiers at the shop. Since Philips and Video-con are new in this area I am not interested in them though they are cheap and attractive. Aqua-sure-Crystal was good and its 8K Rs and the shop guy ready to give for 7K Rs in a discount price. But I have not taken it just because I want to know'Aqua-Guard' product before I can buy any other purifier.
I have gone through the'Eurekha Forbes' website https://corporate.eurekaforbes.com. I red all the information on the water purifiers in India. Finally I decided to buy'GoldNova'. Because its latest and it has very good user friendly options.

I put a request through the'EurekhaForbes' web site about a product demo.
On the same day I received a call from a lady to get confirmation on the demo request. I told Yes I want a sales person at home to buy a water purifier. She asks for the availability and I gave appointment on Saturday morning.
I received a call on Saturday at 1:00PM and the sales guy asking for the address. I gave address and he told he will reach by 5:00PM. He came around 5:30PM and he showed different models from his broachers.
Since I have drinking water(Mangeera) connection I don’t have to buy RO system. I need just drinking water purifier. To cut short I asked sale guy to show me the'Gold Nova' system and he said it's the latest and it’s not available on the broachers. He has a separate pam-plate for the'Gold Nova'.
He told'GoldNova' is 9590.00Rs. No bargain. I asked if he can reduce at least 800Rs. But no luck.
I gave cheque and he gave me receipt. Next day'GoldNova' was delivered at home. Installation person came and he did the installation part. It’s very easy.
We should have electrical point+ Water point then installation can be done.
Installation is done. Installer told me the power on and off and free flow option.
I asked the installer to set the equipment to fill 1Liter bottle at the press of button. He said he don’t know how to do that. Actually that was one of the required feature that made me to choose Gold-Nova. When that guy told he dont know then I felt lost.
I have gone through the manual and understand that the auto-fill option is there and it can be done setting. Just two instructions are there to do that setup. I did it and it’s giving me 1Lt bottle full and stoping on its own. I love it.
So it’s a hassle free water purifier. Just put a bottle and press the button. It will fill the bottle and stops on its own. No over flows and etc.
It has good music and beep sound while starting & filling the water. With that music and beep sound you can understand what gold-nova is doing instead of looking at it to understand(It’s talking to you).
After the installation, three buckets of water is not good to drink so I ran the water out.
I am having water from Gold-nova for the last 20 days and it tastes OK. I am happy that I made the right choice.
First 1year is under warranty. Two services in the first one year are free. The yearly maintenance could cost some where around 300Rs.
Water is flowing with OK pressure though I have my 1000Lt tank on the second floor. I am getting 1.5Lit/Min from the purifier.
Bottle holding tray is not friedly as it has some design making bottle not to stand properly.
Overall it’s a good experience. I will update this page if I have any issues with the purifier.
