Due to smelly municipal water supply I insisted my father to install the Aquaguard Compact in May 2013. We contacted Aquaguard through telephone and their agent came for a demo and collection of cheque. After demo, we gave him a cheque of around Rs. 8000/-. He promised that the machine will be installed within 48 hours. After two days, since no one turn up, we again contact the supplier. He said that today someone will go with the machine.
Next day delivery man supplied the machine and said the mechanic will come to install. We waited for three more days the engineer to come. Ultimately it took a week to install the machine. After six months the machine stopped providing water. When we contacted the supplier, mechanic came and said that the candle in the machine has to be changed for which he demanded Rs. 600/-. We opposed this because the machine was still under warranty. Then he talked to his officer and replaced the candle without any charge. However, he insisted for AMC and for advance cheque. I declined to his proposal.
Neither the machine nor the company provided any satisfactory service. Their sole target is to fetch money in the name of AMC and service. Being aggrieved from the quality of the product and services, I will not recommend for Aquaguard.
