I bought this machine in 2000 when I got my first job. A vehicle was necessary for the job and I started searching for my dream bike

RX100! (2nd hand Ofcourse!). I checked few bikes and was not happy with the conditions and rates. After three months frustration I decided to go for the closest version of RX100, RX135!!!  That baby is 8.5 years old now and still going strong after breathless One lack Kilometers!!!!! Believe me, It is still as good as the new one.

Throttle response is awesome, something you will enjoy in city riding. Mind-blowing sound will invite peoples attention. Boy, you are the king of the road!

Change the rear tire for 3.00/18, you will have an excellent control and break is also very good for a drum type. Whenever you are on a safe road of a long stretch your right hand is not in your control :). Even with the pillion rider of 75kg it will easily touch 100 Km/h with no wobbling or vibration.

Another thing is the reliability of this bike. It will never let you down. Even if i keep this bike untouched for one month in the rain and cold climate, Most of the time it will start in one or two kicks. And on long rides you can keep going till you personally get tired on single stretch. with this bike my longest ride was 200kms on 3 occasions. It takes little 2.5 hour for me to cover that distance from Chennai to Nellore.

In City I get a Consistent 47 km/L, which is not a bad mileage form me. You won’t spend much for maintaining and resale is also pretty good(if you have the heart to sell it) . Parts are very cheep compared to 4 stroke bikes. My brother threw this bike under a full capacity tanker lorry which ran over the bike. I could bring the bike back to the original condition at an expense of Rs.5000.

During this 8 years I have rode this bike for over 1 lack kms. I have changed the tires twice, Battery once, engine piston once, front mud guard once, Rear shocks once, Chain & sprockets couple of time, Side indicates many times, some shaft inside once. I have never changed its original shape, No extra fittings, no alterations, No make-ups, I have removed the mirrors, Otherwise it is as it is!!!!!!!!!!

I have a four-wheeler, but I always go to work on this Pet. I want to buy a Enfield Bullet now, but definitely not at the expense of my RX135....
