Poor Battery and Painful Kick start

I bought this bike in my 12th class and I took care of my baby till my MBA and then i was on my 4 wheels. I loved the wroooom sound and surely was my best pal. It was pretty steady with nice controls and
maneuverability. The looks were very decent at that time (1999) but then it started fading with coming of bikes like Pulsar and CBZ. But there were few things which kept me bugging. I found the bike with some alignment problem and nobody cud make out the cause and fix it. I was never happy with the Battery connection. It used to get discharged too often. In winters, again it was like getting crazy while the kick start... the cooled down engine got to my nerves. The pick up was just awesome. Its little tedious to change gears sometimes but it used to take off like rocket. These 6 years i took care of it and possibly the best maintained (people, the maintenance is not expensive). I still got the resale value of 15000/-. I guess the secret behind it was that i kept it to its original form and no fiddling with its mechanical parts and more importantly sticking to the speed limits of 40-45kmph. Really it sounded so quality bike. The successor whom i sold definitely wanted it to sound more like sports bike. So he got the CBZ disc breaks fitted into it. Changed the exhaust and all. But surely this wont be the gorgeous looking and performer as it was before. Specially when all good looking girls used to envy the girl sitting behind me... lol
