We,

a group of about 8 family
members happened to stay in Mercara Inn in Mercara for 2 nights on 22nd and
23rd of May,2008 and had a nightmarish experience related to water supply on
both the days as there was some major mechanical problem added to the
frequent power failure. The restaurant also does not seem to cater
vegetarians and the desk officials were inexperienced and altogether the
management was observed to be running on some probationary period .The 2
positive factors were its decent appearance and the hotel boys positive and
fast assistance. Perhaps the problem was duly brought to the notice of the
top management of the hotel on the last (third) day of our stay who promptly
accepted our views, assured to make proper needed arrangements in future and
even offered some discounts/concession on our bill amount paid- v sampath
