Recently I (Dhiraj Patra) visited to Digha (West Bengal) with my wife(Tanusree) and little son(Om). I stayed at Hote Rajmahal in Old Digha (contact: 03220-267366, 09433233193). Comfortable accomodation with friendly hotel stuffs.
Room service is good.
Even at 12.30 at mid night got the meal at room.
I took a non ac double bed room at about Rs. 500 @ day.
Just 1 min to beach.
Only problem I felt that it is little bit noisy as it is by the side of main road. And it does not have any place for children to play inside the hotel.
I am recommending this hotel.
It just before the Nehuru market at Old Digha.
This hotel have its own descent resturant with all type of foods.
You can get the different type of bus services from front of the hotel to any where in Kolkata and other adjacent places of Kolkata.
Last time I was stayed at different hotle neat to sea beach but at the mid night I did not get any room there. So just randomly I was checking for the hotel room and then I got a room luckely.
