This is the best hotel to stay in matheran... excellent service and good veg food.  Clean and spacious rooms.  Lots of games available like (carom, TT, fuseball, badminton, ) it is far from the market and hence is very peaceful.

best duration for matheran stay is 2 nite 2 days ..

Matheran’s weather is beautiful in all seasons and it is convenient to reach from mumbai. from Mumbai there are trains to Neral .. and from Neral station there are vehicles which will take to to matheran in 30-40 mins and ticket is rs50 ...
Once you reach matheran you would hv to walk or take a horse...

Matheran is very safe place... even with pitch dark outside you can walk ...
please remembr to carry a torch ... and trekking shoes.. no chappals as you have to walk a lot in matheran.. u can hire horses but i found it a lil expensive ...
