My experiences flying Emirates have been dismal at the best and horrific at the worst.
From impolite and rude booking agents, unhelpful and impolite ground staff, to disorderly boarding practices, this airline has definitely left me unimpressed.

The only good thing about the airline is the crew and the aircraft. Luzurious new planes in great condition and polite and extremely helpful crew.

This airline does not release seats, but blocks them itself inorder to jack up the fares. Never buy an open ticket on emirates, cuz your ticket will most likely NEVER be confirmed. However for a nominal fee of $75 they are always willing to confirm your seat.

I payed extra for an open ticket with 6 month validity and then ended up paying even more as they would not confirm the ticket as the airlines would not issuue seats after a certain date based on the class i had purchased!!!! so basically i could only fly when the airlines wanted me to, so it wasnt actually valid for 6 months, cause they blocked out certain dates !!
