I have been flying for the past 20 years on all classes of flight and i must say that the best flight experience i have had so far has been flying emirates.
The quality of an airline and its service is based on how few times you as for help. Emirates has a baseline service that requires you to seldom ask for anything special because most of what you want is covered in the baseline of its service. I guess the biggest plusses are as follows
1) Good legroom
2) Very good quality of food served, especially vegetarian
3) Sensitivity to Passenger needs
   All airlines have issues related to their service, and i can say that hardly any flight is without issues if its long haul with multiple segments. In the case of Emirates, starting with Punctuality and ending with food and including safety procedures all were good.
I strongly recommend this airline.
