Hi, This is my frank opinion on Emirates as I practically always try to fly on it DBX to BMB and return
off season the tickets are cheaper and sold at lesser rates then usual. EK has a good
record from here.
There counters are not with other airlines, they have their own entrance and counters, especially for emirates passengers.
Ground service is excellent so far I have not faced delay of a minute, usually off season the tickets are at lesser rates as schools close in June so people are
flying back home. Once I flew by Air India and what a bad experience being the airline of my motherland it was disappointing.
Now from Bombay emirates does not have all that a good service as they have out here. But last time I found an improvement in their service.
Some of their ground staff ask for money even if they put your luggage for weighing. And behaved very rudely I have experienced it myself. But out here they make sure they do their job well as they require it or can get fired on the spot that how strict they are so they have to do their duties well.
Dubai is good in every dept especially when it comes to helping out at airports nobody dare ask or pressure you for tips, and in India I had to pay for them to do it. If your baggage is put for weighing. I had to pay the man for putting my baggage on the weighing machine on an EK flight.
While here it is done without asking whether your coming or going they do their jobs.
Look you cant judge an airline flying on it once, so never give a wrong opinion, I being an Indian and for your kind information a very patriotic one and that I was sorry I flew by Air India.
Let me tell you I had an argument with an Air India air hostess, and asked her if they were kept only to serve goras and not kalas,I put it straight across is it so,it went to an extent where I clearly told her the status she holds, because the way she was talking as though they do us a favour by serving us.
I was so thirsty and upteen times after asking for plain water no one bothered, but yes they were serving alcohol and other things, and till I got of the flight, first thing I asked my husband to buy was water, from then onwards at duty free first thing I do is buy water.
And you will be surprised to know even this time my husband because of timing told me Air India, the tickets were costlier then Cathay Pacific.
But Emirates have no partiality to anyone, even it be a class person or a labourer class person they talk respectfully and serve you well.
So far I have flown out and in always in time. Clean and spacious aircraft, you can have anice snooze, I feel 2and1/2 hrs is to little for me on this flight.
Because by the time they serve drinks and food and again drinks. There I see the lights of Bombay then all I am eager is for the plane to land and get out and meet my people.
My suggestion is do not hesitate to fly Emirates any day have complaints contact me no jokes, as my husband printing press does a lot of their printing, still no vasila works for us in case of extra weight the rule is the same for
all. So go ahead and fly Emirates and enjoy it.Self experience is the best experience.
Bye Sushama
Sorry something has gone wrong with the settings so forgive me please my friend will come and set it again.
