Emirates has a good connectivity and is one of the best airlines. But you might not find the seating so good. It feels a bit cramped in the economy class. Still it is much better than other airlines.

And the inflight entertainment system will never let you feel bored on long flights.
You might not like the food though. But as long as it is an Asian veg mel, you wont feel hungry. Anyways, the snacks and beverages are really good.
What more, when you are stopping by for your connecting flight in Dubai, you never feel bored. There is so much to do at Dubai duty free... and if you wish take a look around Dubai - take your time, but you will still feel there is more to see.
Emirates offers you one of the best check in services, but still baggage handling is an issue. Especially if your hand baggage is taken off the flight on account of excess weight etc, there are many chances that your hand baggage may not arrive with you at your destination. It happend with me twice. But still you would get it the next day... So be careful.
