We had booked our round trip from India to US and back through Emirates Airline. The routing was Bangalore to Chennai (by Jet Airways, codeshared by Emirates), Chennai to Dubai (by Emirates),
Dubai to New York JFK (by Emirates), JFK to SFO (by Delta Airlines codeshared by Emirates), SFO to JFK (by Delta Airlines codeshared by Emirates), JFK to Dubai (by Emirates) and Dubai to Bangalore (by Emirates).
Although we had all the legs of the journeys fully confirmed, we had a harrowing time when
(1) at New York, Delta told us rather rudely that while my reservation for JFK-SFO trip was in tact, my wifes reservation has been cancelled by Emirates unilaterally for no rhyme or reason (resulting in our overstaying for a day in New York to take the next days American Airlines flight,
(2) at San Francisco, Delta told us the same story that while my reservation for SFO-JFK and JFK-Dubai was in tact, there was no trace of my wifes reservation for the same flights (resulting in our wasting half a day over telephone to do a fresh booking),
(3) at Dubai, Emirates could not trace any sign of both our reservations (mine as well as my wifes) for Dubai-Bangalore flight resulting in our having to go over to Emiratess booking counter at Dubai to make fresh booking all over again for a different date) and
(4) when we finally arrived in Bangalore, two out four of our checked-in baggages were missing (reportedly as Emirates ground staff at Dubai bungled at the time loading at Dubai) and upon duly lodging a complaint, these two missing baggages were restored to us two days later.
I wanted to write a strong complaint to Emirates about our bitter experiences and claim due compensation from them.
Surprisingly, I dont find any customer feedback link or e-mail ids on Emirates web site. Now, all that I am left with is the option of sending a legal notice to their Dubai postal address.
