On one of my recent business trip to London, i planned to flew Emirates. The route was HYDERABAD- DUBAI-LONDON. Now its pretty obvious that Emirates has to touch its base (DUBAI) enroute.
One thing you get for sure from Emirates is "A true Arabic Experience". To start with all deck conversation begins in Arabic, then English and finally the local language.The dress code for the flight attendents are also Arabic. To be very frank, white girls look terrific in Arabic clothes... now thats just a personal experience.
The flight from Hyderabad was on time and the check-in was smooth.... nowadays Aviation industry is the main targer for Terrorist org. due to which lot of constraints have come into the earlier check-in procedures for International Flight. Emirates still managed to make it smooth and troublefree.
I entered the cabin and finally settled down in my seat. A flight attendent came down soon enough with refreshments.
As you all must have experienced that majority of the International flights take off Midnight-4.00AM, you obviously expect people to be dozing as they enter the flight cabin. Well all i wanted was a nice drink to help me go on a deep slumber. I ordered for the ever famous cocktail "Tom Collins". Well i havent seen flight attendents make the drink for passengers (rather they stuff all the things near you..to pamper yourself all alone), this lady was courteous enough to understand my tiredness and make a drink for me. She passed me the Tobasco sauce.. in case i need it in my drink... and bid a good night!!!!!
Well that was all till Dubai....
I had a wait time of 6 hours at dubai and then boared my second Emirated flight to London.... This time all anouncements were majorly in Arabic and English.... Well to tell you frankly there are good things about the Arab world..
1) Their Language....sounds like the hush in a bush....
2) Their food.. how can you forget the Kababs..
3) Their women......... too good...
I had a good sleep during HYD-DUBAI  flight and was not in a mood to repeat the same on my onwards journey to Dubai ...
I had a good breakfast.... and settled down to play with the Emirates Entertainment system. They offer you a good collection of regional movies, songs and international hits. Their playstation is also cool.....tried hand on a couple of games as well...
Well Beer time !!!! had 4 canned beers... offfff....... each time the lady used to get me a beer ... she used to ask me to thank her for that.... sweet....
I shared the side two seater with a young IT girl ....... now thats plain luck dude :) and we sipped beers in tango !!!!! Didn’t had an idea that Indian IT girls can drink this bit... huh ..!!!!!

I bid the lady happy clearing gallons of beers in London.. and saluted Emirates for its elagance..

Watch out my review space for upcoming reviews on London....its Transport (the best i must say).. and the heaven on earth.. Scotland.. I might fire a reveiw soon on Scotch whiskey as well :)
