Emirates as per me is the best airlines have seen and experienced so far. While in UAE I always use to read some good news or the other about Emirates as it has won mostly all the awards that might

have been selected in air travel related categories. In fact some of the award were exclusively won by them for consecutive years. I was in the UAE from 1997 to 2002 and used to travel to Mumbai only by Emirates from Dubai. It was really very good experience to feel the real joy of flying with Emirates. The services at their check in counters was really at their best which will be at a class of its own. as I feel the personnel at the desks were really  very polite to all passengers. I did not find anytime that any one of them behaved rudely with the passengers, they all were very warm and use to greet in a very very nice way to all irrespective of their nationality or by which class they are travelling. Its the only airline in gulf I have seen till 2002 which was having best inflight entertainment.
All economy class seats were also fitted with Tv screens and good channel music. The selection of movies on TV or songs on audio channel were excellent as if the airline staff exactly know what type of entertainment the passenger would like to see/listen. The food or cold drinks were also of very good taste though sometimes I felt the food was not adequate to fill my stomatch. (But in air travel nobody thinks to have stomachfull food.) 
The aircrew especially the air hostess and flight stuard are all good looking and very professionally trained to behave with the passengers. While travelling even by a early morning flight, a wide range of most of  local / international newspapers were made available for passengers. The aircrew members were quick enough to reach the passenger as soon as he call them by push of a button.
On punctuality basis, its was absolutely on dot both at takeoff and at landing, I did not find even a minutes difference. If the wheather outside is not that good to land or even for takeoff, the captain will make sure to inform the passenger on their P.A. system. 
I would love to travel by Emirates again in future and will see to it that where ever Emirates are having their flights , would prefer to use their best service at all times.
