I think,, its the best by Paulo Coelho so far,, I have read his the alchemist,, which was great and unparallel in its own way,,
I have also read, Devil and Miss.Prym ,,, Veronica decides to die,, and warrior of light,, but this seems touching the most

Reasons

*It is very simple,,, no use of hi-fi english,, just plain touching words from the heart

*It is clear,,, and written by a very free minded person,,

*The idea of journalling,, as if you are writing a letter to yourself,, is simply great,, morever,, the way, maria,, the main character,, depicts herself and justifies herself in her diary is also wonderful,, I think one must write a diary everyday,,, wow!!! I have already fallen in love with the character again,, just because of her simplicity, ability to be herself,, to be true to herself, I think thats the hardest part in life, to be honest with oneself

* Maria, the central character,, just like santiago of the alchemist,, is also adventurous,, she has learnt the lesson of not saying no to life in a very bitter way, and hence says yes till the very end,, thats what life is all about isnt it??
