                              Its

very natural, normal and obvious to critisize this book or not to like it at all..but i m sorry to say to all the prejudiced critics that either you need to read it twice or you still need to see some more time and life to be able to understand coelho... its not easy to grasp, when a man of Coelho’s capacity and capability sets his imagination free and speaks about the subject of his mastery ’’philosophy of life and death and sex’’...one needs to be on the same frequency at which he talks...please dont misunderstand it as a disqualification or my attempt to insult anyone..its just that you need a certain level of experiece..
Sometimes we should allow ourselves to get intimidated by someone who has been chosen by god and bestowed with immense talent and fame, when Coelho speaks you have to think twice before writing him off..
The magnificence with which a women’s mind is read in this book is exceptional, specially the exerpts from maria’s diary (how an intellectual mind justifies every sin of its) are

one of the most intelligent piece of writings i have ever come across...
lets not label it as an erotic novel, even the graphic narrations are so astheticaly decorated with that special Coelho tinge to it. , the sadism scenes make ur heart pound hard, love cant be defined in a better way, no conditions,no demands as Maria discovers with the painter.its not testosterone but the adernalin that flows, its a bliss, thats what sacred sex is,its not the routine,a drug that we hav made it to be..
Coelho is so confusing at times,so is life, isnt’ it?we all r confused, all r wandering, sometimes in guilt,in sadness, betrayal, failure, with our dreams of greatness so similar to maria,We all are prostitutes in one way or the other.i m convinced ,thats why i relate to Maria,nd i m convinced everyone is..

this book is not only thought provoking its like a pebble thrown in a silent lake, and the ripples  in our heart have an air of blissful relief and realisation of how these 11 mins are so important , so useless and so sacred at the same time..Cheers to Coelho.
