It is a story of a small colony(mohalla) called Colnel Gunj. The main lead is played by Varun Badola. He is playing Sanjay who is an orphan staying in the colony and goes all out to lend helping hand for any one who faces problems. He is shown as an intellect with composed mind who is able to solve most of the problems faced by colony residents whether personal or otherwise. Female lead is called Urmi(dont know her real name), a bubbly character who is in love with Sanjay.
The story has been woven excellently and the problems that arise in each household are common. Any one can identify with the situations shown.
The strong point is story, characterisation, realism and of course Varun. The title track sung by Sonu Nigam is my personal favorite bringing back lots of lovely memories of my neighbourhood during my childhood & schooling days.
Hats of to Taurus and Varun for giving a breather from "rona dhona". Varun has also contributed to story and script.
This program was aired on Saturday nights and I dont know the current timings. Star Voice of India has taken its place from the last week.
