When I first made out a profile for this site I had debated on whether or not to do it.
True it lets you see who is writing if they have a picture but what does that do? Do you rate by the way someone looks? I know I don’t and I think most rate on how someone writes and if the information was useful or not.

But okay you write a few facts about yourself and try to keep it updated so people know you are still there and writing. Other than that I have not seen much point to it. I know when I check out someones reviews I do look at their homepage but I am looking to see what they write about, if they read others and how they rate people mostly.

Sometimes I will read the profile itself. This is not to say that I am not interested in people but I learn much about them by reading what they write. Much more than by reading their profile.

As with any site I never give out my exact location and that is not because I have anything to hide but everyone should be careful of this so that people can’t track you down that are on the Internet, like stalkers so ladies should be even more cautious.

The one thing I wish was there is the ability to show your e-mail address if you want to rather than having to go through the member to member e-mail and wonder if they went through or not.

I also don’t see any reason why we can’t list other sites we write at. But have noticed that certain words are not permitted to use just have yet to figure out why.

Suppose several of us wanted to chat? are we allowed to put our messenger ID’s on our page? That is still unclear to me.

Okay so what exactly does your profile page do for you? I can now see that putting a picture up may help one to decide to trust you simply because a lack of a picture might make people wonder why. Some people are just very cautious on the Internet as they should be but yes if you feel comfortable with that it will at least make your profile page look better.

I am rambling here this morning? Hope I made some point in writing this.
