When in 2009 Feb I came Hyderabad, I visited Eat Street first time in my life. Recently last year I have visited Eat Street.
It is quite good place to spend time with family in nature, a place centralized in middle of the city, a Lake - Hussain Sagar - Crown of Hyderabad plus lots of food stalls, famous Ice cream parlour, some astrologer sitting under tree, some children games, popcorn stalls so overall a place with awesome view of lake, boating rides and small fair.
A perfect place for outing with family in cloudy weather.
Must try their Rava dosa and Jalebis.
or the best part, go at 11 pm there and walk aside Hussain Sagar. It is situated in center of the City so transportation easily available, plus can book cab rides, also if with family than place is safe.
Just go with family not alone.
