If you are decent in your skills and can talk well, then you can negotiate your way to a great salary package here.


They celebrate every festival, they have some or other fun program going on all the time, though I really doubt it helps because I don't see the employee moral going any high.


Mainly because the management is dumb, you can talk your way through many of the sticky situations as long as you know what you are doing. Good place to stick around for 2-3 years, make good money and then look elsewhere.


Stay out of delivery and you will have a good work-life balance. You can get whatever designation you want over here.


Con:


Most of the people in the management are unskilled with absolutely no technology or product engineering or delivery knowledge in the management. The senior management is just waiting for the company to get acquired so that they can cash-in on their stocks and run with the money. No one wants to actually make a difference and do the right thing when matters.


In the last 2-3 years I have seen this company going from bad to worse. Lot of highly-skilled employees have left due to egoistic management and lack of career growth.


The company is now very top-heavy. The respect for skilled Techies and BAs, who IMO are the most important people in a tech company, is all but minimal. They just hire managers who just delegate stuff. Almost all projects here are currently in red with the customers either mad or very mad or very very mad.


The COO thinks he is a'Steve Jobs - reincarnate'; only made-in-china. He runs corruption nexus within the company to pocket the money of the investors via other companies he runs behind the scene. CEO and COO don't see eye to eye. The VPs and SVPs run errands for the CEO and COO rather than driving the company to growth. In particular there is a lady here as one of the VPs, if you happen to be in her team, then god save you.


A basic indication of the state of affairs is that the recruitment and HR teams are totally new here. All the old employees have left within a span of 3-6 months.


To the mgmt:


Learn to hire people who are better than you and then let them do their job. Learn a bit of leadership and don't let your ego come into play. You have done really well in the past, no reason why you cannot do it again.
